Of all the presents I've ordered for my family this year, I bet at least one won't arrive in time.
The last order was placed at the weekend (I've been busy launching a certain website!) and all the companies reckon they will indeed deliver in time. I just think at least one is bound to fall short.
You can bet until midnight on Friday, with Saturday the last day for post to arrive and when the bet will end.

How are we counting presents that get here before christmas but nobody's around to take delivery?
I suppose the bet was on the inefficiency of the sellers/postal services rather than my family, so if they've attempted delivery they can count as delivered for this bet.
It's just tough if it's your present that you missed :p
Alas, a single present didn't arrive and Christmas is cancelled for little Timmy.
Not quite, but one present hasn't arrived yet and there'll be no more deliveries before Christmas Day.
