London ended up being fantastic, and I couldn't have run it any faster (3 h 19min 33sec - I had no much left in me), but I feel that with more training and the extra 4-5 months, I could - maybe - cross a famous barrier for a marathon man: 3 hr 10 min, the time required to qualify for Boston.

Might be a tiny bit ambitious - especially considering that whatever I run I don't seem to be able to lose a gram (maybe that's due to the McDo being way too close from our garage) - but anyway, that's my new target.

I have until Oct 19. Eighteen weeks to go. Six trainings a week (incl within a club now). The bet is on!

I'm on schedule with my training (6x a week, believe it or not). Even did 80K last week + 20K fast walk, my longest week so far. A few big ones coming up (32K on Sunday alone). The only issue is that I don't seem to be losing weight, so weird and so annoying (not that I want to be finner, but I have to carry all that weight, and as a rule of thumb, I could run 5 second faster per Km per Kilo (2 poinds) I lose). Aaargh. Anyway, hopefully the heavy training will pay of shortly.

      Hello my dear BB,
I heard about your intensive training. I'm sure you will get 'the 3.10'. I'll propose Isabel to be on your arrival. We support ...

Thanks mamatje. I think I'll target 3h15 instead. My legs are not supporting me to the speed I had hoped for. The current marathon is getting "new Bragster" out. Getting closer and closer... Tot bientot.
